Frank/Gerard (Illustration) Unwritten As of Yet Caberet!Fic

In which Gerard is a 1920's crossdressing caberet dancer and Frank is his unlikely war veteran lover. A WIP fic by my lovely best friend vononxx.

Safe for work, but if you have a dislike for crossdressing, I don't suggest you click the cut. :)

(ALSO, does anyone have any ideas for drawings? Or requests, even. I'm all out and your ideas would help a lot!)


I guess this is a sort of character sketch. Von had already sussed out the clothes and Gerard's costumes, and I felt like drawing some 1920's flair and romantic poses (also crossdressing Gerard unghh). Uh so here they're dancing and being all mooshy. It sort of references a scene where they dance in Gerard's living room, but I couldn't be bothered with backgrounds and perspective ect. I like the lineart but I had a lot of trouble with skintones. They're a bit dull. But then, Gerard's wearing a dress, so I don't care.

Also, I could be wrong, but I do believe I drew a Frank that looks like Frank again. I'm on a roll. 

AND also, I made Gerard look like a dude in a dress (at least I hope he does) because I think that helps with the authenticity of crossdressing. It doesn't make sense to me that he'd look just like a woman because he's not, you know?

I love cross-dressing and your Gerard is fantastic. I love his legs and his clumpy shoes, and the wispy hem of his dress.

Maybe you could draw the whole band cross-dressing? Show us what clothes each one would wear.

Clumpy shoes are awesome. I like the line of Frank's slacks.
