I KNOW THAT FEELING. I too, have expectations of alcohol pressed upon me from various people, including my own mother. What!? I want to stay inside and record podfic and cry over cats and talk to people I have never met in real life. Is that so bad?

Exactly! My mum does the same thing! She tries to send me to parties her friends' kids are having, all, "Hey, I'll buy you alcohol since you don't have money!" She'll do anything to get me out of the house, I swear.
