Frank/Mikey VanDays Accidental Drawing

I was meant to be practicing a new way of drawing perspective where you use cubes to determine depth, and then one of the cube people turned into Frank! and then a new cube person appeared underneath Frank and it was Mikey! And suddenly there was also a background, and I'd been drawing for like six hours, and the Accidental VanDays drawing was born.

Also, where do I post fanart here at Dreamwidth? I've posted at bandslashmania at LJ before, but it feels more a fic-directed community.

So,yeah. I used Photoshop and a couple pictures for reference, the lights in the background are meant to be streetlights and I'm not sure why the van is completely deserted, but I'm sure there's a good reason.

More vandays fic should exist!

Also, it looks really blurry because Photobucket is a cesspool of evil.

I love this! The little bright lights are gorgeous, and I love the little details like Frank's boxers peeking over his jeans, and the hot water bottle and how Frank's eyebrows are so accurate (ie perfect). I love Mikey's hair too, it's so cute <3

Heehee, by the way, the hot water bottle is meant to be a folded up jumper/shirt thing, but looking at it now... it does look a lot like a hot water bottle! Hahaha
