Okay, so. This was done for a prompt from lucifuge5 over at bandom_meme on Dreamwidth. The prompt was 'Botanist!Frank can talk to plants. He's just started to date Mikeyway (but has kept his ~talent~ a secret.) What's Mikeyway's reaction when he discovers it? Does Mikeyway has a ~talent~ too?'

You know what would be Great? A Homeless!Frank AU (Illustration)

I never start anything with intent, though, so instead here's a scene from this hypothetical story I'll never write!

It's sort of based on 'There is a Light That Never Goes out' by The Smiths, the not having anywhere to go sort of feeling, the loneliness and the hopelessness. This scene would be just after Frank leaves and he just sits down on a park bench and smokes until it gets dark because he's stuck, he can't go back home and he doesn't have any money and can't afford a motel. I don't think he'd sleep that night, I think he'd just sit on the bench and wait until morning. And then he'd start just walking. Seriously, I do not have the angst power to write this thing.

I tried out a new drawing style. It's pretty dramatic with all the shadows. Um, I like the yellow light. I really like the pose. Also, Frank finally looks like Frank! \o/! I hate drawing Frank because I can't, but I enjoyed drawing this. Uh, what else. Oh, the buttons on his bag are Killjoy colours, that was a lame intended sort of in-joke. Heh. ( Click Here )
